Yvonne Phillips-Dupree
Board President

A recent retiree, proudly devoted 36 years to the students in the Houston Independent School District. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. She taught theatre arts at Ross Sterling Senior High for 20 years, and her plays advanced to the University Interscholastic League’s One Act Play Competition five times. She has directed professionally at both the Encore and the Ensemble Theaters in Houston, Texas. Plays that she has directed include:Of Mice and Men, Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, Fences, Picnic, Jitney, To Be Young Gifted andBlack, All My Sons, and a host of others.

Errol Anthony Wilks
VP of Development

Errol Anthony Wilks is a native of Clarendon, Jamaica. His directing credits include, Long Time Since Yesterday, The Sirens, The Island, Drums of Sweetwater, Indigo Blues and Giving Up The Ghost. He holds a BA in Theatre/Cinema from Texas Southern University. Errol Anthony makes his home in Richmond Texas and is a proud veteran of the US Navy.

Ms. Sandifer is a writer, actress, sound designer, arts educator, producer, and more. Her educational background includes: The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) and the University of Houston. Her local work has included the Alley theatre, Main Street Theater, the Company On Stage, and more. She is looking forward to launching her program, which merges her two passions: arts and social services. She encourages everyone to explore their passions.
