Why Volunteer
Volunteering offers a chance to be directly involved in Houston’s premier African American theatre festival. Volunteers build real-world event skills and gain access to networking opportunities with artists, producers, and cultural leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities
Volunteers assist with various tasks to ensure a seamless festival experience.
Responsibilities may include:

Event setup and breakdown

Ushering and guest assistance

Marketing and promotions
Requirements

Volunteers must commit to at least one day, with a minimum shift of four hours.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Volunteers must follow all organization policies and guidelines.
